Andrew Duff MEP – East of England
He was a member of the Convention on the Charter of Fundamental Rights and, later of the Convention on the Future of Europe. He represented the European Parliament in the Intergovernmental Conference on the Treaty of Lisbon. He is currently the Parliament’s rapporteur on electoral reform.
Elected President of the Union of European Federalists (UEF) in 2008, he also co-chairs the Spinelli Federalist Intergroup in the European Parliament.
Duff is a substitute member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and of the Security and Defence Sub-Committee. A specialist on Turkish affairs, he is a founder member of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).
Author or editor of many books on European integration, his latest pamphlet is Federal Union Now, which is published by the Federal Trust in September 2011.
